          _cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ÇAs one of the fruits of the intense work of the Social Works on April 13, 1992  the Semi-boarding school was opened in the Jardim Aeroporto neighborhood. Initially with two classes (morning and afternoon) where the cafeteria also operated the , on average 60 children attended. A year later  a church group from Germany with donations from the HANBORS family built the other pavilion with two classrooms, bathrooms and area. Activities were expanded  starting to also offer formal education with the creation of the Elementary School from 1st to 4th grades (at the time as annex to the Escola da A Mão Cooperadora Bela Vista Unit, located at 11th Rua , Bela Vista neighborhood), in partnership with the public school system, through an agreement with the City Hall.

          _cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ The Cemic Semi-boarding school (Educational Center for Minors Integrated to the Community) and the School operated at the same time.

          _cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_  CEMIC, in partnership with the school, functioned as a semi-boarding school, where children and adolescents spent the whole day in extracurricular activities, recreation, bathing, having coffee, lunch and the afternoon snack. Thus, that public that participated in both the school and CEMIC had a comprehensive education offered thanks to the partnership with the public school system.

          _cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ In the first years of operation Escola and CEMIC were legally responsible for Mrs Rosely Rose Teixeira (Director of A Mão Cooperadora School Bela Vista unit. 

          _cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ The School began its activities serving 60 children distributed in Early Childhood Education and 1st grade of Elementary School, under the coordination of a responsible teacher, Mrs. Diana Gomes Paiva. The first teachers: Maria José (currently ACS in the neighborhood), Vitorina Gomes do Lago and Diana Paiva. Cook “aunt” Erimilta F. Paiva.  

          _cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ In 1993 Ms. Ilza da Costa took over the coordination as the responsible teacher. In 1995, its facilities were expanded again and began to serve children up to the 4th grade of Elementary School.

In its first years of existence, the School had the support in the social area of Ms. Alice Kunkel, a German missionary who worked especially accompanying the families served through visitation and a program at the church called Sociedade Feminina.

          _cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ In 1996, Professor Ilza was absent from the coordination, returning in 1997. During the period of her absence, Professor Lárri Behringer took over the direction of  work.

          _cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ In 2003, the school started to have an Executing Unit with the creation of the Parents and Teachers Association (APM), which made it possible to receive funds from the Federal Government directly to improve the teaching offer in the establishment.

          _cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ With the reformulation at CEMIC, which took place in 2008, with the name changed to “Projeto Bem-te-vi”, the main meal (lunch) was no longer offered to students,  school reinforcement, recreation and courses remain in the after-school shift.

         No ano de 2009 com a holding the first election for director in schools in the municipality, again, teacher Ilza Costa took over the direction of the school, now elected by the community through the democratic process. Staying in the period from  2009 to 2013. Dand from 2014 to 2017 the school passed to the direction of teacher Sandra Nogueira Leite.

          _cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_   In 2017, through an electoral process, the school community elected teacher Ilza da Costa Oliveira to lead the school management of this teaching unit for the biennium 2018 to 2019. In 2019, in a new electoral process, teacher Ilza was re-elected to the school board for the period from 2020 to 2021.

          _cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ Under the direction of Professor Ilza da Costa Oliveira, school secretary Gilcélia Mota Reis and Educational Technician Cleide Aparecida da Silva, the Escola A Mão Cooperadora III,  has a staff of 29 to serve 379 students from the 1st to the 5th year of Elementary School. Still in  2021, he is responsible for a 1st year class that works as an annex at the Hanna Stella Early Childhood Education Center with 26 students.

The School has the great support of the Socio-educational Project A Mão Cooperadora, an initiative of the Social and Educational Works of the Church of God in the Amazon, serving 46 children in the counter shift with tutoring projects, reading, sports and recreation projects.

          _cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ With the mission of contributing to the formation of citizens aware of their rights and duties, capable of acting as agents of transformation, the Escola A Mão Cooperadora Unidade Jardim Aeroporto has completed 29 years of work provided to the Itaitubense community.

          _cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ With the new internal administration model, A Mão Cooperadora transferred the management of its school units to the local Church and in the Jardim Aeroporto neighborhood it is under the responsibility of the pastor couple Daniel and Rosilene Alencar, allowing greater and more direct support to the your needs.

It offers an education with values aimed at the full development of the potential of its students. For this reason, it has remained above the average established by the Ministry of Education in recent years, through the IDEB (Basic School Development Index).
