THE   Mão Cooperadora believes that it is in education that the deepest roots and the most solid foundation lie for the construction of a fairer, more fraternal society with effective social inclusion and in this way it has guided all its work over the 40 years of its activities in the municipality of Itaituba and other municipalities in the region.

In 2008, an important milestone for Education began in the municipality of Itaituba with the creation of Early Childhood Education Centers to serve children from 3 to 5 years old.

      In partnership with the municipality of the municipality_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b3b-3194-bb3 then accepted the challenge of the ocf Centro de Educação Infantil A Mão Cooperadora providing the physical space, the building where its Social Project operated, for believing in the importance of this  phase for the development of children in their cognitive, affective, corporal and social dimensions, aiming at their autonomy.

        Para assumir a direção do Centro, foi convidada a professora Edinólia Ferreira Paiva which, on the occasion of the direct elections for principals in 2009 (an historic landmark in the Municipality's Education), was democratically elected by the school community to manage the school for a period of two years (2009 to 2011). Teacher Edinólia managed the school with great professionalism and as proof of her competence, she gained the recognition of the school community and in 2011 she was again elected for another biennium at the head of the school (2011 to 2013). During its fourteen years of existence in the community,  the Centro de Educação Infantil has become a reference school in the municipality thanks to the competence and dedication of the professionals who took over the direction of the work. of extremely competent and dedicated professionals, the school became, in a short time, a reference for the quality of the work carried out in the follow-up to Early Childhood Education. Because of this, each year the demand for vacancies becomes greater and greater  e with the growing demand and to continue contributing and serving the community, A Mão Cooperadora, in response to the request of the Municipal Education Department, decided to give in one more space and create an annex to the Child Education Center.

        O Centro de Educação Infantil A Mão Cooperadora conta hoje com aproximadamente 450 alunos in the age group of 03 to 05 years, with a total of 35 employees, among which 22 are teachers, all qualified to guarantee the quality of care provided to children.
