          Como o trabalho espiritual se extended to km 85 and this had already been blessed with this project to implement schools, km 70 in 1999 received the news that it was time to be blessed.

      The Cooperating Hand in the person of Fr. Edgar Henke knew the place and knew that the existing schools in the Community were not enough to serve the clientele of school age. So, Prof. Edgar Henke, in contact with German supporters, arrived at the Church of Minden, a Lutheran church, which was willing to donate the amount necessary for the construction of a small but comfortable school of great importance to the local people.

         A Escola foi construída com duas classrooms, a kitchen, three bathrooms, a sink with four faucets and a small storage room. Attached to the school building, a house was built for the person who committed to take on the work there.

          A Escola A Mão Cooperadora in Divinópolis, Rurópolis – Pá, started its activities on February 13, 2000, serving 100 students aged between 3 and 14 years old, subdivided into four groups, which are composed as follows: Kindergarten I (04 years old) 25 students , Kindergarten II (05 years old) 25 students, Literacy (06 years old) 25 students and 1st grade (07 to 14 years old) 25 students. The Literacy and 1st grade classes were attended in the morning shift and the Kindergarten I and Kindergarten II classes were attended in the afternoon shift.

        O quadro de funcionários foi composto com 01 Coordenador (Missionária Solange Laurindo) , 02 Teachers (one of them being Miss Solange Laurindo), 02 servants, one for each period and 01 Watchman, totaling 05 employees.

From then on, it continued to function through the existing agreement with the city of Rurópolis and with the support of the Social Works of the Church through A Mão Cooperator in the Amazon.

          Atualmente sob a direção da Prª Dayane Pamela the school serves  111 students and has 18 employees and the direct support of  Local Church under the responsibility of Pr. Wanderson Nunes de Oliveira.
