Pastor Orest Greiner

De origem pobre, é the fourth of a family of eleven brothers, son of Son of Mr. Waldemar Greiner e Mrs. Amélia Capitani Greiner of German and Italian descent was born in Santa Cruz do Sul/RS and raised in Marechal Cândido Rondon. As a child, he and his older brother worked, often day and night, to help the family with household expenses.

Aos dez anos de idade began to attend the Bible School of the Church of God. At the age of thirteen was invited to live in the house of the missionary Lilian Meier with three of his brothers. The missionary, already a widow at that time, looked after several children who depended on help to study and whose parents had the most diverse difficulties. As a teenager he took a liking to studies and studied at the state school of Marechal Candido Rondon until the 6th grade, during that time he worked as a gas station attendant and car washer. It was also during this period that learned to distribute Christian literature and to visit the most different places, always accompanied by the missionary Lillian Meier and her daughter Tabitha.

Sua conversão em Marechal Candido Rondon was a simple and calm moment, he could feel the great love and forgiveness of God in his life. In 1972 he decided to enter the Seminary and only in his first years of ministry did he complete elementary school. In his ministerial life, several people were important for his spiritual growth, among which the Missionary Lillian Meier stands out, who represents in his life the greatest lesson of faith and missionary vision. Pastor Nelson Junges, learned from him faith, which is the impulse of his preaching and perseverance in going through bitter and embarrassing situations and Pastor Edgar Henke, which is a reflection of love for the Lord's Work and dedication to service.

Pastor Oreste Greiner um homem of faith, a life directed and blessed by the Lord for this reason he has always been dedicated to the work of God for the spread of the gospel. At the National Level, he was president of the IADB; He worked the longest period of his ministry in the North Region helping the couple Bill and Betty Mottingerr in the beginning of the Church of God in the region with specifically in Itaituba, this at the beginning of his ministry with 21 years old and newly married (1975-1979).

De 1984-1990, seu second period in Itaituba, built the second church of the Church of God located on 23rd street in Bairro Bom Remédio. In the metropolitan region of Belém, he started a missionary work with the help of the missionary couple Tomas and Jane Mc.Kracken. In 2000, he started the work of the Instituto Teológico Boa Terra Amazônia – ITBT- Amazônia.

Aos dez anos de idade começou a frequentar a Escola Bíblica da Igreja de Deus. Aos treze anos de idade foi convidado para morar na casa da missionária Lilian Meier com mais três de seus irmãos. A missionária, nessa época já viúva, olhava por várias crianças que dependiam de ajuda para estudar e cujos pais tinham as mais diversas dificuldades. Na adolescência tomou gosto pelos estudos e estudou na escola estadual de Marechal Candido Rondon até a 6ª série, durante esse tempo trabalhou como frentista e lavador de carros em um posto de gasolina. Foi nesse período também que aprendeu a distribuir literaturas cristãs e a visitar o mais diferentes lugares sempre acompanhado da missionaria Lillian Meier e sua filha Tabita.

Sua conversão em Marechal Candido Rondon foi um momento simples e calmo, pode sentir o grande amor e o perdão de Deus em sua vida. Em 1972 decidiu entrar para o Seminário e somente nos primeiros anos de ministério foi que concluiu o ensino fundamental. Em sua vida ministerial várias pessoas foram importantes para o seu crescimento espiritual dentre as quais destaca a Missionária Lllian Meier, a qual representa em sua vida a maior lição de fé e visão missionária. Pastor Nelson Junges, aprendeu com ele a fé, que é o impulso de suas pregações e a perseverança em atravessar situações amargas e embaraçosas e Pastor Edgar Henke o qual é o reflexo do amor pela Obra do Senhor e dedicação no serviço.
